Black Discrimination
Harassment, prejudice and violence against an African American or a group of
African Americans is considered black discrimination. This type of discrimination
can occur in a public, private, civic or environment situation.
Due to enforceable civil rights laws, all citizens of the United States are
granted equal rights and equal protection under the laws of the land. These
laws are enforceable by all government agencies – including protection from
law enforcement.
While discrimination laws guarantee equal opportunity and protection under
the law, they do not afford individuals undo privileges.
