Race Discrimination
When an employer discriminates, harasses or fails to provide equal pay, protection
or opportunities based on the national origin, birthplace, culture, voice accent
or name of an employee, there appears to be an unlawful prejudice against that
individual. If a person is hired due to the same racial attribute, this may also
be considered racial discrimination.
Many times racial discrimination occurs because an employer has had an unfavorable
experience with a past employee, co-worker or associate that shares the same racial
or social qualities as the victim. Regardless, ethnic discrimination is a violation
of civil rights within the United States.
