Racial Discrimination
Racial Discrimination is one of the easiest forms of discrimination to define.
Simply stated, racial discrimination means treating a person or a group of people
unfairly because of their racial background. This type of discrimination also
includes a person or a group of people being discriminated against because
of a perceived racial background. For example, if a person chooses to wear
a certain style of ethnic clothing and they are harassed or find prejudice
against them, this person or group of people may be victim to
racial discrimination.
Racial Discrimination Facts:
- Not receiving an equal opportunity due to an ethnic background is racial discrimination.
- Harassment or prejudice due to an ethnic background is racial discrimination.
- Harassment or prejudice due to a perceived ethnic background may be considered racial discrimination.
