Reverse Discrimination
Reverse discrimination applies to situations where someone is discriminated
against because they are part of a dominant group within a school, work or social
setting. Some often believe they are discriminated against so that someone within
an organization can fill a quota by using someone else who is part of a social minority.
In most situations, reverse discrimination is illegal. There are currently, however,
situations where affirmative action laws that assist minorities by providing
opportunities for them – mostly in academic settings – are given an advantage.

- Hiring or firing to create a vacancy for a culture, religion or gender can be reverse discrimination.
