Sex Discrimination
There are three types of sex discrimination. First, sex discrimination or
sexual harassment occurs when a person’s salary, benefits or even employment
depends on a person performing sexual acts or sexual favors within an company
or social organization. This type of sex discrimination also includes on-going verbal abuse and harassment of comments and actions that are sexual in nature.
The second form of sex discrimination occurs when a person is harassed in
the work place because of the person’s gender. It is important to note that
sexual discrimination can occur between people of the same gender.
The third type of sex discrimination occurs when someone does not receive equal
opportunity, equal pay or equal opportunity for advancement.
