Sexual Discrimination
There are two types of sexual discrimination. First, sexual discrimination or
sexual harassment occurs when a person’s salary, benefits or even employment
depends on a person performing sexual acts or sexual favors within a company
or social organization. This type of sexual discrimination also includes
on-going verbal abuse and harassment of comments and actions that are
sexual in nature.
The second form of sexual discrimination occurs when a person is harassed
in the work place because of the person’s gender. It is important to note
that sexual discrimination can occur between people of the same gender.

- Making lewd comments about someone’s body is sexual discrimination.
- Basing salary or benefits on sexual acts is unlawful and considered sexual discrimination.
- Sexual harassment can be considered sexual discrimination.
- Denial of benefits or salary because of gender can be sexual discrimination.
