Legal Aid
Legal assistance provided for those unable to afford an attorney is a government granted right to all citizens of the United States
when they are accused of a crime. The government does not, however, provide legal assistance when a person or a group decides to
bring another group to court for a civil lawsuit. There are many groups that give legal aid or legal support to groups or
individuals who meet criteria determined by legal aid organizations.
